"Watch out for it not charging!" 2009-08-29
By Dean E. Londo
I ordered this ipod from Amazon and when it arrived, it would not hold a charge. I exchanged it for a new one and that would not charge. I would not trust ordering this again and I order a lot from Amazon! Take your own risk if you want but I thought I would let you know.

By K. Westby (Minneapolis, MN)
I love my new ipod. The screen is big and easy to see and I like the new album cover scrolling option. The battery life also seems really good. The only bad thing I found was that my ipod dock and old charging devices do not work with this new model :(

"Love my New iPod Nano 4th Generation" 2009-08-28
By J. Venticinque (Cranston, RI)
I recently purchased my first iPod Nano 4th Generation, and I must tell you I was alittle nervous about getting set up, and becoming familiar with it. It was easy to hook up, the registration process was simple through iTunes, the ease of importing songs from my own Cd's was just so fast. I have also purchased songs from iTunes to download and that is a simple process also I am loving it!!! I have become a Pro with it, but most of all I love style, the size, and the sound of my ipod. Easy to take with you anywhere. Lastly I would highly recommend this iPod to anyone like myself who is a beginner in the world of electronics...I am totally satisfied with my purchase.

 "I Love This iPod" 2009-08-27

By Liz (New Zealand)

I love my iPod Nano. I have only owned 3 other MP3 players, none of them from Apple and none anywhere near as good as this. I avoided buying an iPod for ages because of comments from reviewers but when my daughter showed me hers I thought it was so beautiful that I bought myself one. I haven't regretted it even though it was a bit extravagant since I had bought a Sansa Fuze only 6 months earlier. But the Sansa was driving me crazy and I really regretted my purchase.

This iPod is a dream compared to my other MP3 players. With iTunes the whole process of choosing, downloading and synchronizing is so easy. Someone mentioned that the screen is small. It is but it is just fine for short movies such as home videos and YouTube. I have adding home videos as it is a good way to show them to family when I visit. (You can also buy an attachment so that you can show your movies on TV.) Add lots and lots of photos and, when viewing, turn the iPod either way to suit the orientation of your photos. It just flips them for you. Listen to music as you watch a slide show.

I also use my nano for audio books which download directly to iTunes and sync across easily.

I do recommend this iPod (or the 8GB version). It is a triumph of technology and design-surely destined to be a design classic. I give it 5 stars because I can't think of anything wrong with it so why be stingy?

"It was everything I expected it to be... and more." 2009-08-26

By Leilani Fernandez (Union City, Ca USA)

Aloha, I'm a Polynesian dance teacher, choreographer and performer,

I've needed to update my technology for a while now... I was still lugging around my cd's and my (old faithful) boom box.

My 16g ipod has completely changed the way I teach dance class. All of my music is wonderfully organized and literally @ my finger tips, it's so user friendly and it's purple my favorite color! I also purchased a very sleek Memorex audio system (Mi2013-BLK) which works very well, has great sound and charges my ipod on deck as well as many other convenient features. Although, it took me a while to finally get updated and streamlined I'm so very happy that I did. YEAH !!!

Mahalo,

 "I love it!" 2009-08-24

By E. GREEN (Allentown, PA)

This is my first iPod and I really love it. However, there are 2 cons: 1) No OFF button 2)Would like it to be easier to check the battery level.

I'm also trying to figure out how to remove a song; I thought I did, but it didn't. I need to work more with iTunes I guess.
